I want Uppsala to stay in your heart!

To start the hotel was a dream come true. I want to create a hotel in Uppsala where the city's atmosphere and interesting history was given space. Welcome to share my dream.

When I started Hotell Charlotte in 2007, I had worked in the service sector for years and I felt that I wanted to create a hotel on which I could put my own mark.

Since then a lot has happened. We do not offer luxury, but a good value, clean hotel with stylish decor. We are located near Uppsala´s famous student district, the University, the Cathedral and it takes less than ten minutes to walk to down town.

Sure, you experience Uppsala best if you head out to town, but often there is not enough time to see everything, especially if you are here to work. Therefore, I would like you to experience the soul of Uppsala already at the hotel. After your stay at my hotel, I want the memory of Uppsala to live on in your heart!

With our personally taken Uppsala photos, I have decorated the corridors, rooms and breakfast room, where you can also see part of Uppsala's exciting history. The corridors have a series of pictures by the British writer and artist Simon McKeown, telling the story of some of Uppsala's famous former citizens.
We also create a very special atmosphere with the artist PederStrandh´s interpretations of the Uppsala enviroment.
